Tobique River Valley - Activities at the Tobique River Country Cabin CANOEING, KAYAKING & TUBING Canoeing and kayaking on the Tobique River is one of the most popular activities in the area. The Tobique is one of New Brunswick's most accessible and scenic rivers. You can spend the day relaxing in the sun as you let the current carry you along to your destination or get some exercise as you paddle your way downstream. Where the water is shallow you can jump out of your boat and swim. Pack a lunch, anchor and enjoy a picnic. Bald eagles, osprays, ducks, geese and a variety of other birds are frequently spotted. Canoes and kayaks are available for rental.
